What is agentmash?

agentmash preview

agentmash brings coding agents and team coordination into one app. It alerts agents to teammates’ ongoing changes before they edit, including work that has not been committed. Developers can monitor active sessions, share instructions, and request help from a teammate’s agent with approval. Agents run on their owners’ machines using existing accounts, while source code stays local by default.

Key Features

  • Pre-Edit Conflict Awareness

Warns agents about overlapping work before they change files, helping them account for teammates’ uncommitted edits.

  • Multi-Agent Workspace

Brings tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor into one app while retaining each developer’s existing accounts.

  • Approval-Based Agent Requests

Lets teammates send tasks to another developer’s agent, with owner approval and read-only or editing permissions.

  • Live Team Context

Shows teammate availability, active agent sessions, branches, and recent activity, while sharing recent team messages with agents.

  • Specialized Agent Presets

Provides 22 ready-made Claude Code agents for planning, implementation, testing, reviews, documentation, and other development tasks.

  • Local-First Coordination

Keeps code on developers’ machines by default and shares coordination metadata such as file paths, branches, and change summaries.

Use Cases

  • Parallel Feature Development : Coordinate agents working on related features so they can adapt their edits around changes already underway.
  • Cross-Branch Debugging : Ask a teammate’s agent to investigate a problem in its local environment without transferring control of their session.
  • Mixed-Agent Teamwork : Give developers using different coding assistants a shared view of ongoing work and potential overlaps.
  • Team Instruction Sharing : Communicate temporary constraints and project updates through team chat so agents receive relevant context before their next prompt.
  • Specialist Task Delegation : Use predefined agents to divide development work across implementation, testing, security review, and documentation.
