Product Overview

What is Paseo?

Paseo is an open-source, self-hosted platform that lets developers run and manage multiple coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode) through a single unified interface across macOS, Linux, Windows, iOS, Android, and web. The daemon runs on your own machine — laptop, home server, or VPS — wrapping first-party agent CLIs exactly as you would in a terminal, so your sessions, system prompts, MCP servers, and tools remain entirely under your control. Paseo adds productivity layers on top: Git worktree management, split-pane workspace, real-time streaming output, and end-to-end encrypted relay for mobile connectivity, all with no telemetry, no tracking, and no login required.

Key Features

  • Multi-Provider Agent Support

Run Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode from one interface without switching tools or losing context. Each provider's native agent harness runs intact, preserving your skills, config, and MCP servers.

  • Cross-Platform Access

Available on macOS, Linux, Windows, iOS, Android, and web. A single daemon on your host machine powers all clients, letting you manage agents from desktop or mobile seamlessly.

  • Git Worktree Management

Agents work in isolated Git branches via worktree management, preventing conflicts when running parallel tasks. Review diffs, commit, push, and create pull requests directly from the app.

  • Self-Hosted & Privacy-First

The daemon runs entirely on your own infrastructure. No OAuth tokens are intercepted, no sessions are modified, and there is zero telemetry or tracking built in.

  • E2EE Relay & Voice Support

End-to-end encrypted relay (built on Cloudflare Durable Objects) enables secure mobile connectivity to your host. On-device voice chat and dictation are supported via NVIDIA Parakeet, Kokoro, and Sherpa ONNX.

  • Split-Pane Workspace & CLI

Work with agents, files, and terminals side by side in split panes. A Docker-style CLI is also available for running agents programmatically from the command line.

Use Cases

  • Remote Dev Environment Control : Developers can connect to a home server, VPS, or work laptop from their phone or tablet and continue coding sessions with full agent capabilities on the go.
  • Parallel Agent Workflows : Teams or power users can run multiple agents simultaneously in isolated Git worktrees, allowing different tasks to progress in parallel without stepping on each other.
  • Multi-Model Evaluation : Engineers evaluating different coding agents can switch between Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode from one interface, comparing outputs without reconfiguring their environment each time.
  • Privacy-Sensitive Development : Developers working on proprietary or sensitive codebases benefit from Paseo's fully self-hosted, no-telemetry architecture, ensuring no code or prompts are sent to third-party cloud services.
  • Hands-Free Coding Assistance : Voice input support lets developers dictate tasks to coding agents hands-free, useful during code reviews, testing sessions, or when multitasking.
