What is EzLayers?
EzLayers is a browser-based tool that reverse-engineers a single flattened image into its original component parts. Instead of manually tracing subjects with a pen tool, users upload a JPG, PNG, WebP, or SVG and the system decomposes it into up to 16 discrete layers — separating subjects, text, cast shadows, and background into independent elements. What sets it apart is its inpainting engine: when a layer is lifted out, EzLayers reconstructs the textures, lighting, and ground shadows that were hidden underneath, so moving or replacing a layer never leaves a visible void. Results can be fine-tuned in a built-in web editor before exporting as transparent PNG stacks, layered PSDs, or cut-ready SVGs for direct use in Photoshop, Figma, or Illustrator.
