What is Eigent?

Eigent is an open-source desktop AI coworker system that enables users to build, manage, and deploy a custom multi-agent workforce. Unlike traditional AI tools that only generate ideas, Eigent turns context into action by directly controlling web browsers and desktop applications to automate complex workflows. Built on the CAMEL multi-agent framework, it features specialized agents including Browser Agents, Developer Agents, Document Agents, and Custom Agents that collaborate to handle tasks end-to-end. The platform supports bring-your-own-keys (BYOK) model access, local model deployment, and offers flexible subscription tiers with credit-based usage.
