Product Overview
What is Superset?
Superset is a macOS app that turns your terminal into a control center for parallel software development with coding agents. It’s agent-agnostic, so you can launch Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor Agent, or other CLI tools side by side without constantly context-switching. Each agent runs in its own isolated Git worktree to avoid conflicts, while Superset centralizes session monitoring, change review, and quick handoff to your preferred IDE.
Key Features
Parallel agent orchestration
Run dozens of coding-agent sessions simultaneously across different tasks, so feature work and fixes move forward in parallel instead of queueing.
Agent-agnostic terminal workflow
Works with any CLI-based coding agent; you can switch tools without changing your core workflow.
Worktree isolation by default
Keeps each task in its own Git worktree to reduce interference between agent changes and make merging more controlled.
Built-in change review
Review diffs and validate what an agent changed before you merge, keeping quality and intent clear.
One-click open in your IDE
Jump from an agent session to VS Code, Cursor, Xcode, JetBrains IDEs, or a standard terminal when you want to take over manually.
Use Cases
- Parallel feature development : Spin up multiple agents to implement separate features or tickets at the same time, each on its own branch/worktree.
- Bug-fix batching : Assign different agents to different bugs concurrently, then review and merge only the fixes that meet your standards.
- Large refactors with safety rails : Run refactor experiments in isolated worktrees, compare diffs, and keep risky changes contained until verified.
- Agent-assisted code review prep : Use agents to propose changes, then use the built-in diff flow to quickly validate and polish before opening a PR.
- Tool-agnostic AI workflows : Teams or individuals can mix different CLI agents per task (speed, cost, strengths) without adopting a new IDE stack.
