Product Overview
What is DocsAlot?
DocsAlot is a documentation platform built for startups and small teams that need help centers, knowledge bases, and developer docs without carrying the ongoing burden of manual upkeep. Instead of stitching together separate tools for publishing, SDK generation, CLI builds, and agent-facing endpoints, teams feed DocsAlot an OpenAPI spec and product context, and the platform produces a hosted documentation site, generated SDKs and CLIs, and a hosted MCP server from that single source. It also outputs machine-readable formats like llms.txt and skill.md so that AI systems such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor can reliably parse and cite the documentation. DocsAlot further offers optional migration support for teams moving off fragmented systems like Notion, Intercom, Zendesk, or Confluence.
Key Features
OpenAPI-to-Everything Pipeline
Converts a single OpenAPI spec into published docs, generated SDKs, cross-platform CLIs, and a hosted MCP server without separate tooling for each output.
AI-Readable Documentation Outputs
Automatically produces llms.txt, llms-full.txt, and skill.md files so AI assistants can find, parse, and cite canonical product documentation.
Hosted MCP Server
Publishes an MCP endpoint that agents can query directly, removing the need for teams to build and maintain custom MCP infrastructure.
Unified Help Center and Developer Docs
Combines support-facing help content with API, CLI, and SDK documentation in one managed stack instead of fragmenting them across tools.
GitHub-Native Sync Workflow
Connects to a GitHub repository so documentation updates stay tied to code and release changes rather than requiring manual edits.
Migration and Setup Support
Offers done-for-you migration from legacy systems such as Notion, Intercom, Zendesk, and Confluence for teams switching to DocsAlot.
