What is Cotypist?

Cotypist is a macOS app that brings inline predictive autocomplete to every text field on your Mac — Mail, Slack, Notion, Obsidian, browsers, and more. Unlike chatbot-style writing tools, Cotypist never interrupts your flow: suggestions appear as you type, and a single Tab keystroke accepts the next word. All processing runs locally on Apple Silicon, so your text never leaves your device. The more you write, the more Cotypist adapts to your vocabulary and phrasing, keeping your voice intact while cutting your keystrokes roughly in half.
