🙋🏻‍♂️ I'm Ray

I'm an internet product manager who grew up in a rural village in Chaoshan, China. Back in 1997, when I started middle school, I was fortunate to be among the first people in our small town to experience the internet. That moment changed everything – my growth has been shaped by countless people I've met online ever since. I've maintained a passion for following tech trends and products throughout the years.

In college, I enrolled in software engineering, but I dropped out after just 7 days. While I've learned a tremendous amount through the internet since then, I unfortunately never mastered programming skills. After entering the workforce, I became a product manager, working alongside developers every day.

I jumped into the mobile internet wave and started my entrepreneurial journey in 2010. Fifteen years have passed since then – it's been a continuous startup journey with some small wins along the way, but ultimately ending in failures and hard-learned lessons.

🏄‍♂️ Starting Fresh

Now I'm back to working solo, but this time it's different – with the help of AI and Cursor, I can actually build small products myself: MOGE.AI. My goal is to help excellent AI products, especially those in their early stages, reach more everyday people – folks living around us who are completely outside the tech industry. I want to democratize the value that AI brings, and it's also my way of giving back to the internet that gave me everything. If I can meet some like-minded new friends along the way and find travel companions for the journey ahead, that would be even better! 🚢
